My story
from architect to UX designer
I traded a decade in architecture for UX when I discovered I could channel my unyielding passion for tech and storytelling into a vocation that gives me a greater sense of purpose, and brings me closer to the people who will actually use the things I create.
My architectural training still shapes how I think: clarity, systems, spatial logic, and designing for real human needs remains at the core of my workflow. Now I use those same principles to craft digital products that can transform the experiences of a larger audience – in short, I traded crafting with bricks for creating with clicks.
This journey taught me that growth isn’t a straight line, and sometimes true purpose lies at the edge of the unknown; but what lies beyond those edges can be worth all the risk.
I've written more about this journey on my blog, Life in Pixels, titled "Here be Dragons".
